The Bookings module in AurPOS allows you to manage table bookings across your business locations with ease and flexibility — whether for today's Bookings or future dates using the calendar view.
In this guide, we'll walk you through how to activate the module, view Bookings, and create a new booking.
✅ Activating the Bookings Module
To activate the module, follow these steps:
From the main menu, go to Settings.
Select Business Settings.
Navigate to the Modules tab.
Enable the Bookings Module.
Click Update Settings.
Once saved, the Bookings option will appear in the main menu.
✅ Bookings Interface
When accessing the Bookings module, the following interface will appear:
Today's Bookings:
This section displays a list of all bookings scheduled for the current day, including:
Customer name
Bookings start time
Bookings end time
Table number/name
Location
Service staff
✅ Calendar View
The system provides a calendar to display all reservations by:
Day
Week
Month
Detailed agenda
You can navigate between days and weeks using the calendar at the top of the screen.
➕ Bookings Statuses:
Waiting
Booked
Completed
Cancelled
Click on any Booking in the calendar to view or update its details.
Double-click on any day to add a new Booking .
✅ Adding a New Bookings
To add a booking manually:
Click the Add ➕ button at the top left of the screen.
The Add Bookings screen will appear, where you can fill in the following fields:
Business Location : Select the location where the Booking will take place.
Customer: Choose from the registered customers list.
Correspondent: Specify how you’ll contact the customer (optional).
Start and End Time: Define the reservation duration.
Customer Notes: Add any notes related to the reservation.
Notifications:
Enable or disable sending notifications via Email or SMS
Once all information is entered, click Save.
✅ Important Notes
It's recommended to input Booking times accurately to avoid overlap with other bookings.
You can edit a Booking or update its status at any time via the calendar or Booking list.
Sending notifications helps reduce no-show cases and improves customer engagement.
