⬜ Expiry and Damaged Inventory Reports in AurPOS

AurPOS provides advanced reports that help you monitor your inventory status with high accuracy. These tools enable you to track expired or damaged items, which contributes to reducing waste, optimizing storage operations, and ensuring the safety and quality of the products offered to customers.


✅ First: Expired Inventory Report

This report displays all items that are approaching or have already reached their expiration dates. It acts as an early warning tool to prevent the sale or improper handling of expired products.

How to Access:

Dashboard → Reports → Expired Inventory Report

What Does the Report Show?

For each item, the following information is displayed:

  • Item name

  • Item code (SKU)

  • Branch name

  • Remaining stock quantity

  • Warehouse number

  • Expiry date

  • Manufacturing date (if available)

Available Filters:

  • Branch

  • Main category

  • Sub-category

  • Brand

  • Unit

  • Option to show “manufactured items only”

These filters allow you to customize the report based on specific criteria, making it easier to take appropriate actions such as discarding, repurposing, or applying discounts to expiring items.


✅ Second: Damaged Inventory Report

This report is used to track all recorded disposal actions for inventory items, whether the damage is natural (e.g., expiration) or unnatural (e.g., mishandling or improper storage).

➤ How to Access:

Dashboard → Reports → Damaged Inventory Report

➤ What Does the Report Show?

  • Disposal date

  • Reference number

  • Branch name

  • Type of damage (Normal / Abnormal)

  • Total value of damaged stock

  • Amount recovered (if any)

  • Reason for damage

  • User who recorded the disposal

Report Summary Includes:

  • Normal damage total: Value of naturally damaged stock

  • Abnormal damage total: Value of stock damaged due to external reasons

  • Total damaged inventory: Sum of both types

  • Total recovered amount: Any amount recovered from the damaged stock (if applicable)

  • Improve stock counting accuracy and future demand forecasting

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
