⬜ Hotel Management System in AurPOS

The Hotel Management System (HMS) in AurPOS provides a comprehensive solution for managing rooms, bookings, and additional services in hotels, hostels, and serviced apartments. Here's your complete guide to using the system professionally.


✅ Main Dashboard

Upon entering the Hotel Management module, you’ll see a dashboard that gives you an overview of the hotel’s performance, including:

  • Booking Statistics:

    • Upcoming bookings

    • Past bookings

    • Today’s arrivals (with notification if there are none)

  • Guest Details:

    • Number of guests staying tonight (adults and children)

    • Today's check-ins and check-outs

  • Room Availability:

    • Real-time overview of available rooms by type


✅ Room Management

To add a new room to the system, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Rooms" section, then click "Add".

  2. Fill in the room details:

    • Accommodation type (e.g., Double Room)

    • Maximum number of guests (adults and children)

    • Room number and description

    • Upload room photos

  3. Select available amenities (e.g., air conditioning, internet)


✅ Room Pricing

The system offers flexibility in setting room prices using different pricing options:

  • Default Price: Applies uniformly to all days

  • Day-Specific Pricing: For example, higher rates on weekends

  • Guest-Based Pricing: Different rates for adults and children

To set pricing:

  1. Go to the "Pricing" section

  2. Select the room type

  3. Enter the appropriate prices for each case


✅ Booking Management

To create a new booking, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Bookings" tab and click "Add"

  2. Enter customer details:

    • Name

    • Check-in and check-out dates and times

  3. Select the rooms and number of guests

  4. Add any additional services if applicable

  5. Apply discounts or coupon codes

  6. Select the payment method and record the amount paid

The calendar provides a visual overview of room availability:

  • Browse by day to view bookings by date

  • Add new bookings directly from the calendar

  • Filter by room type for better visibility

The system allows you to manage additional services offered to guests, such as:

  • Daily meals

  • Transportation services

  • Special services (e.g., honeymoon setup)

Pricing options include:

  • Per day

  • Per booking

  • Per person


✅ Coupon Management

Through the Coupons tab, you can create promotional discount codes to boost bookings:

  • Define the discount type: percentage or fixed amount

  • Set the coupon’s validity period

  • Link coupons to specific rooms or date ranges


✅ Reports

The system provides a variety of detailed reports to help you monitor performance, including:

  • Booking reports by status (confirmed, cancelled, pending)

  • Guest statistics by category

  • Financial analysis and revenue reports (daily/weekly)

All reports can be exported as PDF or Excel files.

You can define and assign amenities to rooms based on accommodation type, such as:

To add a new amenity:

  1. Go to the "Amenities" section

  2. Click "Add", enter the amenity name and description, then save
