AurPOS allows you to activate the commission agent feature and define how their sales commissions are calculated. This helps streamline incentive management within your sales team. Below are the steps to activate, assign, and calculate sales commissions:
1️⃣ Enabling & Choosing Commission Agent Type
By default, the Commission Agent feature is disabled. To enable it:
○ Go to Settings → Business Settings → Sale
○ Under Sales Commission Agent, you will find three options to define the agent type:
Commission Agent Types:
✅ Logged-in User
The user adding the sale is automatically assigned as the commission agent and receives the commission.
✅ Select from User’s List
Choose the agent from existing business users via the POS and Sales screens.
✅ Select from Commission Agent List
Pick an agent from a predefined list of registered commission agents.
2️⃣ Adding Commission Percentage
When adding or editing a User or Commission Agent, you can set the commission percentage they are eligible to receive from their sales.
3️⃣ Commission Calculation Methods
You can choose one of the following methods to calculate commissions:
✅ Invoice Value
Commission is calculated based on the total invoice amount.
✅ Payment Received
Commission is calculated based on the actual payments received from customers.
4️⃣ Viewing Commission Reports
To view detailed commission data:
○ Go to Reports → Sales Representative Report
○ Select the relevant User (Commission Agent)
The report includes:
• Total Sales
• Total Sales Commission
• Total Expenses
• Detailed Transaction List
5️⃣ Commission Payment Methods
You can process commission payments using either of the following methods:
✅ Via Expense Entry
After calculating the commission:
○ Go to Expenses → Add Expense
○ Enter the commission amount and select the appropriate category from the Expense-For dropdown.
✅ Via HRM Module
When generating payroll in the HR module:
○ The system automatically includes the sales commission.
○ The commission will be listed under Payroll Components, making it transparent for both the business owner and the employee.
