Deleting Products

⚠ Important Note: A product cannot be deleted if it has related transactions, such as:

• Opening stock
• Purchases
• Sales
• Stock transfers

In such cases, an error message will appear, such as:

"Product can’t be deleted because purchases related to this product exist." "Some products couldn’t be deleted because they have related transactions."

1. Deleting an Individual Product

 Steps:

1️⃣ Go to Products → List Products.

2️⃣ Select the product you want to delete.

3️⃣ Click on Actions → Delete.

2. Bulk Deleting Multiple Products

 Steps:

1️⃣ Go to Products → List Products.

2️⃣ Select multiple products by checking the box next to each product.

3️⃣ Click on the Delete Selected button.

3. Product Deletion Errors and How to Handle Them

 "Some products couldn’t be deleted because they have related transactions":

• Ensure there are no sales or purchases linked to the product.
• Verify that the product does not have opening stock recorded.
• If the product is part of a stock transfer, remove it from the transaction first.
